Comcast SportsNet and the Washington Capitals released the team's television schedule yesterday. All 82 games of the Capitals' 2013-14 regular-season will be televised by the NBC Sports Group. Seventy-one regular-season games will be broadcast regionally on Comcast SportsNet, while NBCSN and NBC will air exclusive national coverage of a combined 11 Capitals games this season.
In addition to 71 regular-season games, Comcast SportsNet will also broadcast two preseason games: The 2013 Baltimore Hockey Classic against Boston on Sept. 17 (7 p.m.) and versus Philadelphia on Sept. 27 (7 p.m.) at Verizon Center.Â
Comcast SportsNet's coverage of the upcoming Capitals' season will include 63 games on Comcast SportsNet and 10 games on Comcast SportsNet Plus.
