Evgeny Kuznetsov scored two goals, his seventh and eighth of the season, last night against the Los Angeles Kings. Kuznetsov’s two-goal effort marked his second multi-goal game of the season—the eighth time he has recorded at least two points in a game this year. Kuznetsov leads the team with 28 (8g, 20a) points this season and is tied for 13 th in the NHL in points. Additionally, Kuznetsov’s 20 assists are tied for seventh in the NHL. Over the last three seasons, Kuznetsov's 43 multi-point games are tied for first on the Capitals (Nicklas Backstrom) and are tied for 11 th in the NHL.

The Capitals return to Capital One Arena to host the Columbus Blue Jackets tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Washington finished 7-2-0 in home games in the month of November, one win shy of tying the franchise home win total for the month.
