The Capitals defeated the Boston Bruins for the 11th consecutive time on Thursday at TD Garden and have now won eight of their last 10 games, good for 16 points, the second-highest point total of any team during that stretch (Los Angeles Kings, 8-1-1, 17 points). Over those last 10 games, which began Nov. 24 versus the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Capitals have recorded 38 goals for, the second-most goals for since Nov. 24. 

Alex Ovechkin leads the Capitals in points since Nov. 24 (8g, 6a) and has 16 even-strength goals this season, which matches his total from the 2016-17 campaign. 

The Capitals, who are 6-1-1 in December and are tied with Columbus for first place atop the Metropolitan Division, will host the Anaheim Ducks at 8 p.m. on Saturday at Capital One Arena.
