·        Lars Eller scored the lone goal for the Capitals, his third-straight game with a goal and his fourth goal in his last six games. Eller sits seven goals shy of 100 career goals.

·        Braden Holtby stopped 30 of the 32 shots (.938 save percentage), including 25 of the 26 at even strength.

·        T.J. Oshie recorded a primary assist on Eller’s goal, his third assist in his last three games.
